About Tennessee Rest Areas

Tennessee’s network includes 13 welcome centers and 22 rest areas for a total of 35 staffed and maintained stops statewide. These interstate rest areas and welcome centers are managed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation and are intended as safe, short-term stops for travelers.
